Wormhole Odyssey · updated 23 October 2026

The short version

madeit games does not collect anything about you. There are no accounts, nothing to buy, and no analytics of our own; we do not run a server for the game. Your progress lives on your phone.

Two parts of the game are run by others, and only when you use them: the ads you choose to watch are served by Google AdMob, and Endless scores go to Apple’s Game Center if you are signed in to it. The rest of this page says exactly what each of them sees.

What stays on your phone

How far along the voyage home you are, your best distance and best Endless score, your star shards and dark matter cores, the upgrades and paints you have bought, how many free cores you have claimed today, and every setting — music, sound and their volumes, haptics and steering — are stored on the device itself. They are not uploaded to us, and deleting the app deletes them.

Settings → Reset Progress clears the lot on demand, without asking anyone.

Ads, from Google AdMob

The game never shows an ad on its own. An ad plays only when you tap to watch one for a reward: to carry on after a crash, to double the star shards from a tunnel, or for a free dark matter core.

When it does, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the game contacts Google to fetch and show the ad and to count that it was seen. Google may receive your IP address and the approximate location it implies, information about your device and the app, how you interacted with the ad, and diagnostic data. Google handles this under its own policies: how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game first shows Google’s consent form, where you can agree, refuse, or choose purpose by purpose how your data may be used for ads. If you refuse, ads can still be shown when you ask for them, but they are not personalised, and fewer may be available. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy Choices.

The first time you open the game, iOS asks whether it may track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Only if you allow it does Google receive your device’s advertising identifier, which lets it show ads closer to your interests. If you ask the app not to track — or change your mind later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking — the ads still work, they are just less tailored. madeit games never receives any of this; we see only totals, such as how many ads were watched in a day.

Game Center, from Apple

If you are signed in to Game Center, the game posts the score of each Endless run to two leaderboards: one for all time, and one that starts over every week. Other players see your score next to your Game Center name. This is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy, and you can sign out of Game Center, or change how you appear, in your iPhone’s Settings → Game Center. The voyage home sends nothing.

What is never collected

  • Your name, email or an accountThere is no sign-up and no account of ours to have.
  • How you playNo analytics. We do not know which wormholes you chose, how far you got, or that you opened the game at all.
  • Contacts, photos, location, microphone or health dataThe game never asks for any of it.
  • Payment detailsThere is nothing to buy in the game.

What Apple sees, which is not us

Downloading the game is a transaction between you and Apple, and it is governed by Apple’s privacy policy rather than this one. If you have turned on sharing analytics with developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may show us anonymous, aggregated figures — installs and crash counts — in App Store Connect. We never receive anything that identifies a person.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Turkey’s KVKK you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. We hold nothing ourselves, so there is nothing for us to produce, correct or erase; for what Google and Apple hold, their own tools and the policies linked above apply. If you have a question, write to hello@madeit.ist and you will get an answer.

Children

Wormhole Odyssey is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information about them. It has no chat and nothing to buy.

Changes

If the game ever starts sending something new, this page changes before the version that sends it ships, and the date at the top moves.
